New: Cable glands now also available in black

Bopla Gehäuse Systeme GmbH’s range of accessories consists of more than 100 different cable glands and pressure compensation elements – all of them compatible with the company’s electronics enclosures. Starting now, many of these articles are available not only in light-grey plastic or nickel-plated brass, but also as standard in black plastic.

Cable glands provide a secure entry point for the cable into the relevant housing and ensure an insulated tight connection with it. In this way they reliably protect the fitted electronics against mechanical influences, dust and moisture.

BOPLA’s range of products includes polyamide metric cable glands with anti-kink protection and protection class IP68, in addition to brass or plastic cable glands (IP69) with a slitted sealing insert for the fitting of pre-assembled cables. BOPLA also offers clamping cages for optimal strain relief with half cable glands, and pressure compensation cable glands made of polyamide and nickel-plated brass, both with protection class IP66/67. The latter are recommended for all applications in which no space is available for a separate pressure compensation element.

For faster mounting, BOPLA offers plug-in cable glands (IP66/68) which latch automatically after insertion. This means that they do not require a counter nut, but can easily be removed by using the matching dismantling tool.

BOPLA now offers many cable glands in black, which creates even more opportunities for attractive enclosure designs.
