The special geometry of the half-shells ensures easy mounting inside the enclosure
The recessed area in the lid allows you to fit membrane keypads. Insertion of screws from below means that they cannot be seen or felt on the surface. A quick-release fastener (can be retrofitted) allows the enclosure to be opened and closed without the need for screws.
