Individually-manufactured plastic enclosures
In addition to our standard plastic enclosures, we manufacture individual plastic enclosures designed for your specific application. We implement your visual and technical specifications exactly. On request we advise you about the optimal design of your individual plastic enclosure. We are at your side from the initial idea right up to series manufacture and we take care of all the necessary production stages. Together with you we develop the plastic injection moulding tool required for the manufacture of the enclosures. We are always in contact with you in order to deal quickly with any alterations or optimisations.

The manufacturing processes
Before your individual enclosure goes into series production, we recommend manufacturing a prototype to ensure that everything functions correctly. One advantage of the low weight of the plastic enclosures is that they can often be used as hand-held enclosures in the mobile control unit sector. Of course, they are also suitable for use as console, desktop or top hat rail enclosures . Depending on customer requirements regarding impact strength and heat and chemical resistance, we use different plastic granulates in order to ensure that these requirements are met. We also advise you in respect of possible surface improvements and the look of the plastic enclosures. If required, we can provide individual printing, laser engraving or EMC coatings.
An individual BOPLA enclosure for the treatment of drinking water
With its Type 8905 online analysis system, Messrs. Bürkert GmbH & Co. KG is marketing a compact, modular-expandable complete system which monitors the treatment of drinking water and industrial process water. In order to protect the electronics and sensor modules, and specifically for Bürkert, we have developed a sturdy two-part enclosure which meets the requirements of the modular system.
In developing the online analysis system, Bürkert placed particular value on miniaturisation and modularisation. What was needed was a modular-expandable two-part enclosure with the special function of a hinged cover and a multi-touch display unit. In addition, the plastic enclosure was expected to comply with the requirements of protection class IP65. This also made a special enclosure concept necessary. Bürkert had already produced a prototype for the application, so we were then able to manufacture the enclosure using the plastic injection moulding process.
Customer-specific enclosure solutions for touch applications
The enclosure and display solutions are always designed to meet your individual requirements. You can choose from an impressive range of standard products as a basis, or – like Bürkert – decide on a completely customer-specific product. For many applications our designers can rely on our comprehensive databases, for example when integrating touch displays . This means that the existing standardised set of parameters can quickly and efficiently be adapted to the relevant project specifications. Depending on the customer’s wishes, we will manufacture the right enclosure for a display unit supplied by you, or we will supply an enclosure – including a touch screen – in accordance with your specifications.

In addition to the design and manufacture of the individual plastic enclosures, we also carry out enclosure-related services . These range from the mechanical processing of the enclosures – for example fitting connectors or air vents – to integration of the electronics right up to the assembly of all components and the high-quality packaging of the end units.
