RoHS / REACH

Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II) and (EU) 2015/863 (RoHS III)

Since 01.07.2006 the RoHS guideline has banned electrical devices which consist of certain hazardous materials. The aim is to avoid the use of waste materials, to reduce the amount of waste by means of re-use, and to reduce the pollutant content in electrical and electronic devices. The aim of the ban on the substances is to prevent from the outset pollution and stresses on the environment and health. For BOPLA it has always been an obligation to reduce environmental pollution caused by potentially hazardous substances, and at the same time to meet the increasing demand for environmentally-friendly products.
