Enclosures up to IP 54

Accessories can upgrade BOPLA enclosures to at least IP 54

Some of our enclosures which provide ingress protection of IP 40 / DIN EN 60529 as standard can be upgraded by the insertion of an additional seal. This allows the requirements of the higher level of ingress protection of IP 54 / DIN EN 60529 to be met. Especially in those cases in which technical reasons mean that the selected enclosure suits your application perfectly, or you really like the look of the enclosure, upgrading it to a higher level of ingress protection may be a low-cost option. Our manufacturing department will be happy to do this for you, and the option is available for a selection of both plastic and metal enclosures Please note that information on ingress protection always refers to unprocessed enclosures without taking into consideration factors such as ageing, temperature changes etc.
