Are none of our standard enclosures exactly what you are looking for? Or do you simply want an enclosure which is exclusive to you? BOPLA's many years of experience, together with an enormous amount of expertise, make it possible for us to design customer-specific enclosures. These can be plastic, metal or special profile enclosures, and there are almost no limits. This how we have already created so many special solutions for our customers.

Working closely together with you, we develop special enclosures for your own specific applications.

Here are the main points to consider when planning special enclosures:

-       Precise definition of the customer's requirements, details of the intended application and where the enclosure will be used, batch size, enclosure shape, the material(s), any special equipment to be fitted, degree of protection, EMC and chemical resistance, etc.).

-       Estimate of approximate costs, clarification between the customer and BOPLA regarding implementation of the customer's wishes.

-       Preparation of a specification sheet.

On the basis of 3D data for the new enclosure – provided by you or by our in-house design department – we can already say something about its design. According to the choice of material used for the enclosure, we then manufacture initial samples or prototypes and use these to study and check the first results. Installation and function tests on the prototypes can now be carried out using electronic and other components. Now every department which is involved in the manufacture or sale of the product (product management, sales department, etc) can give advice and make suggestions about the ideal product design. This system ensures that there is no need for time-consuming alterations and adjustments at a later stage.

After the customer has approved the prototypes or initial samples, manufacture of the customer-specific enclosures takes place in the our own production plants. Safe processes, high-quality machines and qualified employees guarantee the manufacture of high-value special enclosures and components made of plastic, metal or using aluminium profile technology.

If the customer wants, we can carry out further processing, printing, engraving, lacquering and EMC screening operations in our factory in Bünde. BOPLA can also take over additional service work such as wiring, the electrical testing of components, and/or the manufacture of customer-specific input units.
