The frame construction consisting of profiles and diecast corners permits the use of different constructions. The profiles are pre-fitted with sponge cord seals, and pre-formed seals provide ingress protection IP 65 for the diecast corners. The internal surfaces of the corner seals ensure that the mounting panels or PCBs can be fitted elastically into the profiles. PCB slots are fitted in the side profiles for threaded inserts, circuit boards and mounting panels. The outer surface is designed as an ergonomic handle surface. The front profile is smooth on the inner surface for fitting connectors, displays, etc. Circuit boards can be inserted parallel to the profile in vertical grooves. The smooth outer surface is designed to hold operating and display units. As alternatives to the standard aluminium front panels, clear or red translucent plastic panels can be used, or a combination of a modified aluminium panel and membrane keypad. Separate profiles can be supplied up to a length of 4 m. Please note our special manufacturing information if you cut profiles or make your own front panels. We can supply special shielding on request to give extra-high EMC protection.
