Sets up of Bündoplast in Bünde. Henceforth Bündoplast will be one of the leading manufacturers of enclosure for engineering, electrical engineering and electronics.

Bündoplast generates its first own developments. The first program, EUROMAS, starts.

Bopla becomes subsidiary company of Phoenix Mecano AG from Switzerland. On an average there are 43 employees working for this company. Together with Phoenix Mecano, Bopla is worldwide on the spot.

After 10 years of continually progress at the enclosure- and screw connection market Bopla builds a new factory in Buende’s industrial area. This is the first period of a long-term funded company vision. More than 70 are in employ of Bopla. With knowledge and engagement they arrange a good and effective cooperation.

Construction of further export-representations and international activities go ahead.

You can find general representations in more than 13 countries for now, for example in Great Britain, Denmark and France.

Joining to the USA market. The number of employees has risen to a number of 100. With the establishment of a new hall-complex the factory is extended to a production and storage area of 6000 qm. Because of finance investments for machinery at the same time the production can be streamlined and work can be rationalized to maintain the price.

Constitution of the structure of distribution in the east (Japan, Korea, Singapore)

The new and modern administrative center of Bopla is presented in Bünde after a construction time of only 7 months. Many-faceted works are coordinated in the new administrative center, which admits 650 qm.

Certification by quality standard ISO 9001.

First membrane keyboard sales. Bopla designs its membrane keyboards as functional and as optical addressing as possible.

Start of the production in Kecskemét in Hungary. About 1000 are working at this place in the middle nine tees.

Inauguration of the new logistic-center with a fully automatically storage system. There is for about 5000 palettes and 23.000 small load carriers. An exact and fast delivery is saved.

Henceforth Bopla also offers individual and customized system solutions. Together with the customer Bopla develops an apparatus, from analysis of needs via construction and fabrication through to final assembly.

30th jubilee

Phoenix Mecano Plastic is established in Sibiu, in Romania in 2000. Steadily about 170 high qualified employees and modern machines guarantee the highest quality of the products.
